RAMP FROM I-95 NORTH TO I-85 SOUTH (EXIT 51) TO CLOSE
FOR OVERNIGHT PAVING IN PETERSBURG
Drivers are encouraged to use posted detour route
PETERSBURG – Weather permitting, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews will close the ramp from I-95 north to I-85 south (Exit 51) in Petersburg as part of a paving project. Drivers should expect delays and anticipate a detour route between 10 p.m.-5 a.m. Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21.
During work, drivers should follow the posted detour route:
· To access I-85 south from I-95 north – Continue on I-95 north to Southpark Blvd. (Exit 53). Turn left onto Roslyn Rd., then right onto I-95 south. Continue on I-95 south to I-85 south (Exit 53).
