(Prince George, VA) – Police Investigating Hit-and-Run

The Prince George County Police Department is asking for help from the public to identify a vehicle that struck a woman and left the scene. 

The incident occurred on the 20500 block of South Crater Road at about noon on Sunday, June 16, 2019.  The female cyclist was traveling northbound on South Crater Road when an

unknown vehicle struck the cyclist from behind.  The force of the crash caused the rear bicycle tire to be broken and the female ejected to the shoulder of the highway. 

The female was transported to Virginia Medical Center (MCV) with life-threatening injuries. Officers are continuing their investigation at this time.
