We don't suck
Hopewell and Prince George County continue to prove people wrong.
If you read our newsletters, you are no stranger to positive stories about Hopewell/Prince George County. As we go about our normal routine of visiting people in and out of the area, we relish the opportunity to tell people about all the great things going on in both localities. Since our office is inside the area Visitor Center, we get to spread the good news to loads of people passing through, as well. Often, we're met with "I had no idea", or "I thought it would never happen." Well, if you enjoy positive news as much as we do, read on, friend. Read on.
AdvanSix Announces $160 Million Investment in Hopewell Facility
At a time when many areas fear losing a manufacturing facility such as AdvanSix, we can proudly say we are not one of them. Thanks to the City of Hopewell and its Economic Development Authority for providing the tax incentives needed to attract this investment.
Justin Faison, VP of Custom Comfort by Winn and his team comprised of Billy Britton, David Moon and Jason Marek, took home the cup at the Hopewell/Prince George Chamber’s 18th Annual Golf Open at the Country Club of Petersburg with a score of 57.
We're happy to announce that we will be partnering with WHAP AM 1340/ FM 96.9 to spotlight Member businesses and Chamber news on the local airwaves. Check out Traci Hackley's (Proud Mama's Kitchen) recent appearance on air. Want to tell your story on air? Contact Daniel below and get on the radio.
We live in a media saturated era. Standing out as a business is harder than ever. In a not-so-distant past, you could sell domain names by having a race car driver pretend to take her clothes off. Today, it's not that easy. Consumers are inundated with advertising media all day every day. Consumers are harder to reach, more fickle, and they have seen just about everything before. That's why you need a good story. Don't use gimmicks and tricks. Don't copy what everyone else is doing. Instead, try crafting your company's unique, authentic, and relevant story. What is it that sets you apart from the competition? Think your company doesn't have a good story? Think again. Check out these five tips from Forbes on business storytelling.
Top 40 Under 40
