(Prince George, VA) – Police Investigating Shooting
Prince George County Police Department detectives have identified all persons involved with the shooting incident yesterday. Whereas the investigation is ongoing, we do know that two adult males, known to each other, exchanged gunfire. One subject received gunshot wounds. He was transported to VCU Medical Center, via helicopter, with serious injuries; police do not have any further updates regarding his current condition.
The Prince George County Police Department does not believe that there is any related, active threat to our community.
On March 26, 2019, at 7:53 pm, members of the Prince George County Police Department responded to the 2100-block of Saddlebrook Lane for a report of a subject that had been shot.
Officers arrived to find an adult, white male with at least one gunshot wound to the body. The victim was treated on-scene and flown to VCU Medical Center for advanced care. The victim had critical and potentially life-threating injuries.
Currently, Prince George County Police investigators are actively investigating this incident.
