(Prince George, VA) – Hit and Run Crash involving a Prince George County School Bus

On February 4, 2019, at 3:22 pm, members of the Prince George County Police Department responded to a two-vehicle, hit and run crash involving a School Bus.  The crash occurred at the intersection of Prince George Drive (Route 156) and South Crater Road (Route 301).  

Once on scene, officers received report that a black Acura Integra, with primer paint,had struck the front bumper of a Prince George County school bus.  Immediately after the collision, the driver of the black Acura Integra pulled off to the side of the roadway and detached their rear bumper, which was hanging off the vehicle.  The driver removed the license plate from the bumper before fleeing the scene.  The driver of the Acura Integra was described as a white female.  A picture of the Acura is documented below (actual vehicle).  

There were 25 students traveling on the school bus; no injuries were reported on-scene.  Students were 6th through 12th graders from the Middle School, Jr. High School, and High School.   Both vehicles sustained minor damage.  The crash is pending investigation.
