Upcoming Meetings & Events

Fri., Oct. 5 - Harbor Blast: Shrimp Blast featuring “Magnolia" & "The El Caminos" (rescheduled from Sept. 15), at the Appomattox Boat Harbor, 1604 Fine Street, Prince George. Gates open at 4:00pm. Tickets are $30 in advance + FREE parking.

Fri., Oct. 5 - PGHS Royals Varsity Football hosts Petersburg HS at the PGHS Football Stadium. Kickoff at 7:00pm. PGHS Homecoming pre-game ceremony honoring the 2018 PGHS Sports State Champions and memorial bench dedication beginning at 6:20pm.

Sat., Oct. 6 - Prince George Farmers' Market continues at Scott Park Pavilion, 6380 Scott Memorial Park Road, Prince George, from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Sat., Oct. 6 – Annual Fall Plant Sale, presented by the Friends of Burrowsville School, will take place at the Burrowsville Community Center, 18701 James River Drive, Disputanta, from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Oct. 6 & 7 - USSSA Fall State Baseball Tournament for EVEN Age Groups, will take place at JEJ Moore Sports Complex, 11455 Prince George Drive, Disputanta. Game times vary throughout the tournament.

Sat., Oct. 6 - "War Dog Day" & Pet Adoption Event, hosted by the Prince George Animal Services & Adoption Center and Petersburg National Battlefield, at the Battlefield Park, 5001 Siege Road, Petersburg, VA, from

10:00am - 2:00pm.

Mon., Oct. 8 - Prince George County School Board will meet in the 3rd Floor Board Room of the County’s Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, at 6:30pm.

Tues., Oct. 9 - Extension Leadership Council (ELC) will meet in the Community Room of the Human Services Building, 6450 Administration Drive, at 12:00pm.

Tues., Oct. 9 – Prince George County Board of Supervisors will meet in the 3rd Floor Board Room of the Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, at 7:00pm.

Wed., Oct. 10 - Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Committee will meet in the Kines Employee Break Room, 2nd Floor of the Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Prince George County Government Offices Closed for Columbus Day

Prince George County Government Offices will be closed Monday, October 8 in observance of Columbus Day. Offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 9.
