* Registration continues (until filled) for Prince George 4-H Camp (Camp dates: July 2-6), at the Prince George Extension Office, 6380 Scott Memorial Park Road, Prince George, Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm, or call 804-733-2686 for more information.

June 29 & 30 - VA Nations Select State Baseball Championship (13 and 14U) will be hosted by Prince George County at the JEJ Moore Sports Complex, 11455 Prince George Drive, Disputanta. Game times vary throughout the tournament.

Sat., June 30 - Prince George County Farmers' Market at the Scott Park Pavilion, 6380 Scott Memorial Park Road, Prince George, from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

July 1-3 - Registration open for "Natural History Summer Program" at the Prince George Regional Heritage Center, for County youth ages 8-12. The camp will be held July 10-20 at the Center, 6406 Courthouse Road, from 8:30am - 11:30am, Tuesday to Friday both weeks. Contact the Center at 804-863-0212 to register.

July 1-13 - Registration open for Boys and Girls Basketball Camp, offered by Prince George Parks & Recreation Office, 11100 Old Stage Road, 8:30pm - 5:00pm, Mon - Fri., for County boys ages 9-17. Registration fee $40.

July 1-31 – Registration for Tennis Lessons for Beginners & Intermediate/Advanced, offered by Prince George Parks & Recreation Office, 11100 Old Stage Road, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Mon-Fri. Registration open to County residents ages 5-adult for $50 hour.

Mon., July 2 - Day Camp Continues for Prince George County youth 6-12 yrs. at Scott Park on Mon. & Wed. and Temple Park on Tues. & Thurs., from 9:30am - 2:30pm.

July 2-6 - 4-H Camp Week for Prince George County Students at the Airfield 4-H Educational Center, 15189 Airfield Road, Wakefield, VA 23888.

Wed., July 4 - Independence Day Holiday - Prince George County Government Offices CLOSED.

Wed., July 4 - Fourth at the Fort Celebration at Williams Stadium, Fort Lee, from 5:00pm - 10:00pm. More information is available by visiting the Fort Lee event page.

Thurs., July 5 - ARLS presents "STEAM" Camp for Youth grades K-5 (Registration required), at Prince George Library, 6605 Courts Drive, Prince George, beginning at 4:00pm.

Prince George County Places Five Teams in Dixie Youth State Tourneys

Five teams will represent Prince George County in the Dixie Youth Softball & Baseball state tournaments in July after capturing district championships this week. Details.
