The Pork Butt Festival, a Prince George tradition from 25 years ago, is returning and is better than ever! You can't miss the revival of this great event held on September 24, 2016 at Temple Park in Prince George. Time to Bring Back the Butt!
Twenty-five years ago, a group of community-minded citizens organized the legendary Pork Butt Festival and brought folks together for a good old-fashioned neighborhood party. Reliability Services, Inc. and Prince George Parks & Recreation are excited to bring this tradition back to the region as a premier community festival in Prince George County that families and friends look forward to attending each year. In keeping with the values of the County, all annual proceeds will support the wonderful work of PG Promise and Virginia Veterans & Family Support.
The day will feature delicious BBQ vendors and frosty beverages to wash it all down. When you cannot eat another bite, cool community partners, fun family activities, and a full line-up of music will entertain you and and get your toes tappin'! Bands will be announced in Early Summer 2016.
