Citizens can use this secure portal to pay:

  • Utility Bills (water and wastewater)
  • Personal Property Tax Bills
  • Real Estate Tax Bills

The Treasurer's Office accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards and debit cards that have a MasterCard or Visa logo.*** Convenience fees are not charged.  Please note that you must create an account and link your utility account to it using your Customer ID and Account Number. 

Payments made using the Prince George County Online Bill Pay portal are NOT immediately reflected on your online account. All payments are posted the following day. 

Notice for Utility Bills:  If your service has been disconnected for non-pay, please telephone the Utilities Department immediately after using the Prince George County Online Bill Pay to report the payment and verify its receipt. The Utilities Office can be reached at (804) 722-8706 Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

*** You are required to enter your CVV code when paying.  The selection must say Present above the line for the CVV code.  The CVV code is the 3-digit code located on the back of your card.

If you have any issues using the online payment portal please contact the help desk at (804) 722-8789 or email:  cssadmin@princegeorgecountyva.gov.  Please note that the help desk is part of the County's Information Technology Department.  It is staffed from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding County Holidays.  There is also a chat feature on the page that allows you to chat with the help desk during business hours.  If you have issues after hours, please email the help desk and your email will be answered the next business day.

Refunds

To inquire about a refund, please contact the Prince George County Treasurer's Office at the number above. Utility Bills are not eligible for refunds. If you have an overpayment on a tax bill, please contact the Treasurer's Office.  The amount overpaid may be refunded or applied to a different bill owed to the County. If a refund is granted, it would be issued via check payment mailed to you within 30 days of its receipt.

The details containing your electronic payment are securely transmitted from our payment gateway to our credit card processor for the sole purpose of authorizing your transaction so that we may provide our goods and services to you, the citizen.

By using the Prince George County Online Bill Pay web site, you consent to the County's use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy (last revised on October 5, 2017). The County reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time without advance notice. Should a new policy go into effect, the County will post it on this site, and the revised policy will apply only to information collected thereafter.

Your visit on the County's site is tracked through a standard web traffic statistics program, which keeps records of traffic on the site. The server automatically collects data about your server’s Internet address when you visit the site. When you request pages from our web site, our servers may log your IP Address.

User information may be disclosed to government authorities or other third parties when required or permitted by law, including, but not limited to, in response to court orders and subpoenas. The County also may disclose user information in connection with investigations or when it has reason to believe that someone is causing injury to or interference with the County's rights or property.
