BENJAMIN HARRISON BRIDGE TRAFFIC TO BE GUIDED BY FLAGGERS THURSDAY

Drivers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes for work on bridge’s air horn system

Benjamin Harrison Bridge/Route 156 (Prince George/Charles City)

– Weather permitting, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews will flag traffic in alternating lanes on the Benjamin Harrison Bridge from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11. The flagging operations will be in place while crews complete work on the bridge’s air horn system. The air horn will remain operable during this time.

Drivers can expect potential delays of up to 15 minutes during the work.

The bridge is located on Jordan Point Rd. (Rt. 156) over the James River at the Charles City/Prince George county line.
