2017 Important Dates to Remember

The November 7, 2017 General and Special Elections will be held in Prince George County and all precincts will be open for voting from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Special dates for this election are:

 Monday, October 16, 2017
 
 Last day to register to vote IF NOT already registered.
 Friday, September 22, 2017   Absentee Ballots will be available.

 Saturday, October 28, 2017

 Registrar's Office open 9 AM to 5 PM for in-person absentee voting.

 Tuesday, October 31, 2017   Last day absentee ballots can be mailed out.

 Saturday, November 4, 2017    Registrar's Office open 9 AM to 5 PM for in-person absentee voting.

 Tuesday, November 7, 2017  ELECTION DAY 



One county precinct has been moved to another location.  JEFFERSON PARK PRECINCT which voted at Jefferson Park Fire Station will now vote at FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH located at 5501 Middle Road, Prince George, VA.  Voters in this precinct will be mailed a notice advising them of the move.  All other precincts remain the same.

Virginia law now requires every voter provide a PHOTO ID in order to vote. Anyone not having a photo ID may come into the Registrar’s Office and have one made for free.

Absentee voting will be available in the Registrar’s Office every day beginning Friday, September 22, 2017 until the last day, Saturday, November 5, 2017. Weekday office hours for in-person absentee voting are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday voting hours are 9 AM to 5 PM (October 28 and November 4).
