The Prince George Heritage Center Announces New Hours

The Prince George County Regional Heritage Center will change its hours of operation, effective April 1, 2017. The change will enable both extended hours on Saturday and, on Mondays, appointment scheduling for tours/activities that need a dedicated time slot in the museum or for doing research. The Center will be closed on Sunday. Saturday hours are being extended to a full six hour day, 10:00 to 4:00. “We hope to better meet the needs of the community, as well as visitors on Saturday market days, and our weekend visitors to this area” said Executive Director Carol Bowman. We believe this change will provide local residents as well as out-of-area visitors extra time to explore and enjoy our Center” said Bowman. “Our staff and dedicated volunteers are more than happy to make our resources available any day of the week, at any time – just let us know how we can help.”
