(Prince George, VA) – 2nd Annual Guns ‘N” Hoses Softball Game July 14, 2016 – Scott Park, 6380 Scott Memorial Park, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
On Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 6:00 pm the Prince George Police and Fire & EMS will take part in a little friendly competition for a good cause. Last year’s competition helped raise funds for PG Promise. This year, the funds from this exciting event will be used by the Prince George Parks and Recreation Foundation to enhance the Moore Athletic Complex. The Moore fields are used year around by thousands of our youth. Prince George Parks and Recreation is extremely thankful for this donation and the facility enhancements it will fund.
Admission is free and we will have t-shirt sales, concessions, a 50/50 raffle and raffles for additional prizes! Both teams are appreciative of the support of our Board of Supervisors and County Administrator, Mr. Percy C. Ashcraft!
Of course there is a tiny bit of enthusiasm as to whether Police will maintain possession of the winning trophy, or whether Fire & EMS will put it on display…..
*In case of inclement weather the game will be rescheduled to July 17, 2016 at 3 p.m.
