(Prince George, VA) – Prince George County Police Welcomes a New Officer to the Ranks

Chief Ed Frankenstein is pleased to announce that Rachel Golonka was sworn in today as a police officer for Prince George County. Officer Golonka is slated to graduate from Crater Criminal Justice Academy on Friday, March 15th. The graduation ceremonies are being held at Virginia State University.

The 80th Basic Law Enforcement Academy lasted for 20 weeks and exposed potential officers to a variety of classroom and practical exercises that will prepare them in their new career. Once Officer Golonka completes the department’s field training program she will be assigned to a patrol shift.

County leaders to include the Board of Supervisors, and County Administrator, Mr. Percy Ashcraft, would like to welcome Officer Golonka to her new career and look forward to her serving the citizens of Prince George County.
